Plopsa Hotel to book Featured

As of yesterday, it is possible to book a room in the Plopsa Hotel, the very first hotel of the Plopsa Group, located right next to Plopsaland and Plopsaqua De Panne.

The brand new hotel, with 117 spectacular themed rooms, will officially open its doors to the general public on Saturday 24 October.

The time has finally come, on Saturday October 24 the leading Plopsa Hotel will open its doors. From today, visitors have the opportunity to book a magical overnight stay in one of the 117 themed rooms. There are 11 suites with a thorough theme including Samson & Marie, Kabouter Plop, Bumba, K3 and Mega Mindy and 10 neutral luxury suites, equipped with all the space, opulence and comfort. The other 96 standard rooms have a more neutral, stylish theater theme. In addition, the Plopsa Hotel has a spacious restaurant 'Le Grand Buffet' with an adjoining outdoor terrace, two bars, three contemporary meeting rooms for business meetings and an underground car park. The impressive foyer has a detailed ceiling painting by Maya the Bee. In addition to Maya, the various other Studio 100 figures also form a prominent part of the decor.

With the construction of the Plopsa Hotel, the Plopsa Group, the theme park division within Studio 100, is taking its first steps in the hotel industry. “We have been looking forward to this for a long time. We already own seven successful theme parks in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and Poland, with which we can welcome an average of three million visitors per year, but a hotel was still missing from the list. Having our own hotel fits in perfectly with our growth ambition to grow into an all-weather multi-day destination so that we can offer visitors the total experience. ”, Says Steve Van den Kerkhof, CEO of the Plopsa Group.

Rooms can be booked from today via www.plopsahotel.be. The room prices always include parking, an extensive breakfast buffet, unlimited access to Plopsaland De Panne, Mayaland Indoor and Plopsaqua De Panne during your stay and a sumptuous dinner in the 'Le Grand Buffet' restaurant.

Future investments

“Until 2023, we will invest a total of 250 million euros in all our Plopsa parks in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and Poland. Of this, 75 million will go to the site in De Panne. ”, Van den Kerkhof adds. For example, the opening of an Xtreme Spinning Coaster in Plopsaland De Panne is planned in 2021. The construction of the Plopsa Hotel has a price tag of 25 million euros. The new hotel offers employment to 50 new employees.
